About the Author

Ty S. Lamb

Ty is a fourth generation native of Arizona with an extensive background in agriculture; cotton farming, livestock marketing, and dairy farming. He is a loving husband to Debra, his wife of twenty-seven years. They have three beautiful adult children and all share a growing faith in Jesus Christ. Debra has a M.S. in counseling from Southern Christian University and ministers through counseling and therapy.

Ty graduated with high honors from Arizona College of the Bible. He received a B.A. in Pastoral Ministry. While there he was the recipient of the Arthur C. Lamburne Memorial Scholarship and the Homiletics Award. He received the Standard Teaching Diploma from the Evangelical Training Association in Wheaton, IL. Ty was also selected for the 1997 Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

After graduation, Ty and his family sold their 400-cow dairy farm and moved to Prescott, Arizona, to plant an independent church, Lighthouse Community Church. His passion and influence in the community has been felt as he gave himself to helping the lost, broken, and down-hearted. He began an association of local pastors who gathered weekly for breakfast, fellowship, and prayer and gave his leadership and assistance in local crusade evangelism events.

Ty’s early church experience was in a United Methodist Church where his family attended. He was confirmed and baptized at twelve years of age. For a time he and his wife Debra attended with her family in a Nazarene church. After moving across town they joined and served ten years in the Southern Baptist Church where he was licensed to preach. While still dairy farming and furthering his education, he began to preach at an  RV park as an outreach ministry of his church. Independent of any influence other than his private devotional life, he began to experience various gifts and manifestations of the Holy Spirit. After moving to Prescott, he was ordained independently through the directives of local pastors and within his own congregation.

Ty has a wide range of ministry experience. He ministers in the prophetic and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. He is a gifted speaker, teacher, counselor, mentor, and prayer intercessor. His passion for the lost is evident and his conviction to help believers grow to maturity is throughout his teaching. After being called out of the pastorate, the recent years have been focused on Bible study, writing, mentoring, travel, and leading a team of intercessors that prayer walk and work to break geographical strongholds all over America. He has also traveled to Israel, Brazil, Russia, and Mexico.

Statement of Faith and Belief

  • The Creator of all things has revealed Himself in the Holy Bible. The Bible is accurate (verbal plenary) and authoritative for all people (Heb. 4:12; 2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:20-21).
  • The Godhead eternally exists in three persons who are essentially one in essence. They are revealed to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Mat. 3:16-17).
  • All of mankind is in a fallen, wayward spiritual condition (Rom. 3:23) and must reconcile with our Creator through Jesus Christ (John 14:6) in order to have the hope and promise of eternal life.
  • A personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the only means of this salvation, which is our reconciliation with God.
    • We are drawn to salvation by the Father at His divine privilege (Luke 10:22; John 6:44, 65; 15:16; Acts 2:39).
    • The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin and unrighteousness (John 16:8); abides in us as our consolation, counselor, teacher, and equipper (Luke 21:15; John 14:26; Eph 1:17-18). We are led to confess our sinfulness to Jesus Christ our High Priest and mediator (Rom. 10:9; 1 Tim. 2:6; Heb. 4:14-16).
    • We receive forgiveness for our sin and rebellion through the blood of Jesus Christ in His crucifixion (1 John. 1:7-9).
    • Through the Holy Spirit we are led to repent of our sin and be willing to change our ways (Luke 5:32; Col. 3:3-10).
    • We surrender our will, possessions, goals, dreams, and ambitions to Jesus Christ and declare Him Lord over our lives (Mat. 23:12; Acts 2:45; 4:32; 1 Pet. 3:15).
    • When possible the believer should follow in the obedience of believer’s baptism by water (Mat. 28:19).
    • Then we are instructed through the scriptures and the leading of the Holy Spirit to live a grateful life of surrendered obedience, right living, and good works (Rom. 6:22; Gal. 5:16-22). These serve as outward evidence that our faith is genuine and our heart is sincere (2 John 6-11; James 2:14-26; 1 Pet. 1:7).

Position Statement
The author of this book makes the appeal the Bible should be interpreted and adhered to as literally and scrupulously as possible. In so doing, we will find the most conservative safety net of teaching and doctrine. After all, the eternal resting place of your soul is held in the balance. Therefore, the pre-millennium view is supported throughout this book.
Concerning the book of Revelation and the last days, God has the following objectives:

    • To congeal this paradox: the fear of God and the grace of God together in our loving relationship with Him (Phil. 2:12).
    • To cause His children to realize that planet earth in its present fallen condition is not our home (Heb. 11:13; 1 Pet. 2:11; 1 Jn. 2:15-17).
    • To reveal His patient love, hoping all will be saved (Rev. 3:19).
    • To bring clarity to God’s intolerance toward sin and evil (Mat. 25:41, 46; Rom. 1:27; Gal. 5:21; Rev. 20:15; 21:8).
    • To test and refine believers’ faith and prepare them for heaven (James 1:2-4; 1 Pet. 1:6-7; 2 Pet. 3:14; Rev. 3:18). To affirm that suffering is an active, productive part of our faith experience and should be embraced (Phil. 1:29; 3:10-11; Heb. 12:3-11).
    • To eradicate all evil from His people and the earth and provide a place that is pure, clean, and holy (Rev. 21:8, 27).
    • To harvest the earth of His prepared children and spare them from His wrath (Rev. 14:15; 21:1-4).
    • To punish and judge the wicked (Rev. 22:15).
    • To bring a final end to Satan and his followers in the lake of fire (Rev. 20:10, 15).
    • To reveal the glory of Jesus Christ and materially exalt Him over the earth and establish His 1,000-year-reign (Phil. 2:9-11; Col. 1:15-20; Rev. 20:6).

May the life giving abundance of Yeshua HaMashiac overflow in your life and mine.

Psalm 130 (NIV) 1 Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord;
2 O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.
3 If you, O Lord, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand?
4 But with you there is forgiveness; therefore you are feared.
5 I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope.
6 My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning,
more than watchmen wait for the morning.
7 O Israel, put your hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love
and with him is full redemption.
8 He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.

Amen.
